Term 4 2025: Important Class Information & Updates
Welcome to Term 4 at Freedom2Fly! We’re thrilled to finish off an exciting year of dance, aerials, and circus. Here's everything you need to know to stay informed and ready to go!
Term 4 Duration and Important Dates:
Start Date: Monday 6th October
End Date: Friday 12th December
Total Weeks: *9x for Monday Ballet Classes, 10 for Tuesdays - Fridays - *Due to Labour Day.
Dance Showcases: ‘A Season of Dance’ (3x Shows) November Thursday 6th @ 6pm, Saturday 8th 11am + 3pm
Aerial, Acro + Circus Showcase: ‘Circus of Life’ (2x Shows) Sunday 2nd November 11am + 2pm
Full cast and crew Dress and Tech Rehearsals: ALL NEED TO BE THERE
Dance - Wednesday 5th November @ 5pm - Te Uku Hall
Aerial, Acro + Circus - Saturday 1st November @ 3pm - F2F Studio - 48 Bow street
CHANGE OF TIME/DATE: CLASSES AFFECTED - Elem L3 and Inter L1 Booster, PERFORMANCE SQUAD, Interm L1
This term our Senior Jazz classes will be combined for their senior Jazz routine up until the show- This means our Elementary Level 3 and Intermediate Level 1 students are changing to Tuesdays 5.45-7pm until after the show. Once the Showcase is over classes will go back to the original times - Thursdays 7.30-8.30
Preschool Dance Class: Tiny Dancers - Suitable for 3+ year olds (recommended as of Jan 1st this year)
Our preschool dance class, now called Tiny Dancers, combines Ballet and Jazz into one fun-filled class!
Schedule: Tuesdays, 3:30-4:00 PM at Stewart Street Studio.
Jazz for 4 year olds: Intro Jazz Tuesdays 4-4.30pm.
Higher-Level Ballet & Jazz Classes:
Term 3 Onward: Both weekly classes are mandatory. (to ensure students progress safely as a group)
These sessions focus on syllabus retention, strength, flexibility, conditioning, and developing independence in their own training while tutors work with other students.
✈️ Jess & Jay Away – Classes Continue!
Just a heads up — Jess and Jay will be away from Tuesday 7th October - Saturday 18th October.
All classes will continue as normal during this time with our amazing cover tutors already lined up. You’re in great hands!

Show routines will be finished and cleaned the first half of this term in the lead up to our showcases. After Showtime classes will begin having fun playing around with some of their next years’ syllabus- LITERALLY LEVELING UP BEFORE THE YEAR IS OVER WHOOP WHOOP!
