We’re so excited to welcome both returning and new families into Term 1, 2026 at Freedom2Fly – a high-energy, high-care studio right in the heart of Raglan. Term 1 is all about levelling up, setting strong foundations, and beginning the year with intention, confidence, and joy.
Whether your child dances for fun, trains seriously, or dreams of performing, this term sets the tone for the year ahead.

💪 NEW CLASS: Strong & Flexi (We’re SO excited about this!)
Saturdays | 9:00–10:00am
This brand-new class has been created especially for our current students and is offered at a discounted rate to support:
Stronger, safer bodies
Cleaner lines
Improved flexibility
Increased confidence across all dance, acro, and aerial classes
Strong & Flexi is designed to support students’ goals, reduce injury risk, and help them get more out of their regular training.

🌟 DANCEStep Program – New Intake for 2026
We are thrilled to be welcoming a new intake of DanceStep students this year.
DanceStep is our youth leadership pathway, designed for students who love dance and want to grow in confidence, responsibility, and connection.
Requirements:
Students must be 12 years or older
Commit to assisting one class for the full year

Wednesday 28th January | 6:00–7:00pm
This evening will also include information about our 2026 Performance Squad, making it a great night for families wanting to explore what’s possible at Freedom2Fly.
🎭 Performance Squad 2026
For students who love performing and want to train with purpose, our Performance Squad is an exciting opportunity.
🎬 Auditions
Wednesday 4th February | 4:30–5:30pm
Age Requirements:
Junior Squad: 9 years+
Senior Squad: 12 years+
Performance Squad focuses on teamwork, performance quality, commitment, and growth – while still keeping the joy of movement at the heart of everything we do. There will be performance opportunities throughout the year that students will be working towards.
🕺 NEW Opportunity: Hip Hop Exams (Optional)
In 2026, we’ll be trialling Hip Hop exams for students who would like an additional way to challenge themselves and track their progress.
✨ This is completely optional and offered as a bonus opportunity – there is no pressure to participate.
Our aim is to provide pathways for students who want to level up, while keeping classes fun, inclusive, and encouraging for everyone.
🤸 Acro at Freedom2Fly – Strength, Skills & Fun
We’d love to see more students join our Acro classes in 2026!
Acro is a dynamic mix of dance and acrobatics, teaching students how to:
Combine tricks with smooth, safe transitions
Build strength, flexibility, and control
Learn skills progressively and safely
It’s a fantastic way for students to work towards moves they may see on TV or social media – with proper technique, support, and care.
Acro is empowering, challenging, and incredibly fun.
👕 Uniform Shop Open Day
To help everyone feel prepared and confident heading into the new year, our Freedom2Fly Uniform Shop will be open:
